Default What is your favorite neighborhood template?
You know the ones! The blank templates when you start a new neighborhood.

Personally, I love the three lakes on because of the flat land on the mountains. Makes me wish I could put walls and pools right up to the edge so they could have an infinity pool!

You can if you use Mootilda's Lot Adjuster, you can build you pool 10 squares away from the edge then take 10 squares away and now the pool it on the edge.

I'm fond of the Crystal Springs template. It makes for a beautiful woodland, mystical place. And with a desert terrain (and a lot of patience to delete all the forest), it was a great choice for Cactus Flats!

I really like the 'sample' template, I've actually used it a lot. It's very versatile, and I usually have some sort of water (whether it's a lake or the sea) on my neighbourhood maps. I also really like the viper canyon template, it's a good size and shape for a nice-sized town and I like the landscaping

Belladonna Cove, I like the higher up houses and the lower down ones. I also quite like one I use to use all the time but I don't know the name of it, just that in the ethumbnail you can see a big cliff, that's my 'go to' neighbourhood when I'm not sure.

I like Driftwood, Aridia and Viper Canyon.

Sedona, Moon Islands and Desiderata Valley are also nice SC4 maps.

Maxis - I like Driftwood. I also like Isla Segundo. They are big and quite flat and easy to build on for lazy builders like me. M.M.A.A. has made one called MidTown and I think it is an edited version of Belladonna Cove (I really like this one) and then Shoreline Fields, which is finally big enough for my personal taste Yet there are others too - I do tend to grow hoods a bit recklessly.

Sedona, hands down. I made a town resembling Sedona, AZ in Sedona :D

I like the three lakes template as well I also like the other vacation templates not too big, I like using those for subhoods like my custom colleges and shopping districts

I love the general layout of the "Briney Fjord" template, but I wish it literally wasn't such a steep drop on the fjord, I'd much rather have that same layout with a lovely little lake or bay in the middle... :3
