Default Wcif a mod that makes it free to recolor items?
I don't know if this exists, and every time I try to google it I get weird results, but is there a mod that lets you recolor items for free using the design tool? For example; I get a blue couch, but I want my couch to be red now, so I have to pay 15 simoleons in order to make it red. It sorta nickles and dimes my Sims to death, and 15 feels like an arbitrary number. So I'd rather it just be free. Any help? TIA!

If your sims can not afford 15 - 30 simoleons to recolor an object then they don't need to recolor it.

Get them a job, skill up and makes some friends and they can afford anything in the game.

Nope, only way is to recolour the item before you place it down.

Someone requested exactly what you're looking for on Garden of Shadows years ago, and as I recall, a modder looked into it extensively and found out the recolor cost was impossible to mod, unfortunately.

You make all the objects free, and place a new one with the right color. As far as I know, that's the only way. Or you keep tabs on how much the sims used on redecorating, and add it to their money after you're done.
