It depends if you are using the Empty and Cleaned Up Neighborhood Templates at MATY , following the tutorial correctly, and using the suggested mods than you will have to entirely populate your new neighborhood including your pre-made families, townies, dormies, downtownies, iconic hobbyists, Master Vamp, Head Witch, Leader of the Pack etc.

If you are just using a custom hood Maxis Style without the clean templates/tutorial/hacks/mods than the hood will spawn everything except your pre-made families
