I've changed graphicsrules.sgr maybe like 15 times and it still won't go to a 1. I've placed or match("${cardName}", "*HD 8???*") in many different places and it still won't work. I've followed the wiki, different posts, even watch a few youtube videos to no avail. I just want to play again.
Is there something I'm doing wrong when I try placing or match("${cardName}", "*HD 8???*") in graphicsrule??? Or can someone help me find where to place it because I'm having confusion with that too.

Also, in my graphicscards.sgr, I placed my card here:

vendor "ATI" 0x1002
card 0x990b "AMD Radeon HD 8650G"
card 0x6798 "AMD Radeon HD 7900 Series"
card 0x6799 "AMD Radeon HD 7900 Series"
card 0x679a "AMD Radeon HD 7900 Series"
card 0x6800 "AMD Radeon HD 7900 Series"
card 0x6818 "AMD Radeon HD 7800 Series"
card 0x6819 "AMD Radeon HD 7800 Series"
card 0x682f "AMD Radeon HD 7700 Series"
card 0x683d "AMD Radeon HD 7700 Series"
card 0x683f "AMD Radeon HD 7700 Series"
card 0x6840 "AMD Radeon HD 7600 Series"

It's in the very first row because I had no idea where to put it. Could that be why it isn't changing?

Please help! I know it's annoying to see the same question over and over again but I haven't found anyone with the same graphics card on any of the forums or online or on any youtube videos. Thank you for putting up with another one of these posts!! :lovestruc

In your post, you didn't include a step for the graphicrules. Can you still get a 1/1 without doing that tedious work? (It didn't work for me but I'm just curious)

as far as I know placing your card there is not going to make your HD 8650G recognized by TS3 therefore TS3 didn't find any match, the ones that TS3 recognized are the ones that already in the list, you suppose to place your HD 8650G's ID (0x990b) to replace one of the comparable one to yours, if I'm not wrong about AMD graphics the 1st number is the generation, the last 3 digits is the class/rangking, so the one comparable to your HD 8650G might be the HD 7600 Series, try to place your 0x990b to replace 0x6840 for the HD 7600 Series, this way your card will be downgraded a bit but TS3 can get it recognized and run it as the HD 7600 Series specification..

As for the 32MB override, once you replaced the 0x6840 with yours 0x990b, delete or move your DeviceConfig and Option.ini from your TS3 Documents folder to somewhere else, put back the original unedited GraphicRules.sgr (if you have back it up before you edit it) to TS3 BG Game\Bin directory, and then launch the game, set up your graphic resolution etc at the TS3 main menu and then exit TS3 (don't start a new game or load your saved game just yet), now open your new DeviceConfig TS3 has regenerated for you, it should get rid of the 32MB override, but if not then you have to edit the GraphicRules.sgr as in the Nitromon's link..

Just to be clear do I need to place my card on top of the 7600 or do you mean to completely replace/erase the 7600?
