The problem that I have picked up with TS3 is that the program need a lot of memory. If you are using Win7 32 bit then your max memory will only be 3.2 gig. This is a major problem because the Pc runs out of recourses. The ultimate fix around this is to use win7 64 bit with minimum 8 gig ram. Please include your Pc specs.

1. please make sure your computer is able to handle sims 3 wih EPS and and with a huge amount of cc the requirements are higher than what EA states sadly .
posting your specs is abdisable (use spoiler like shown here Game Help:System Specs ) or if you are computer savvy you can check the TS3 requirements list for yourself.

if you can 100% cross out its no "hardware problem" before checking the crashing checklist posted above maybe its even better to start here => Game Help:Sims 3 Game Problem it guides you later through crashing checklists and crash workarounds but also remembers you e.p. also to check cache files and costum content issues

If there are crash logs (xcpt*.txt) in your Sims 3 folder, then you could also try the Crash Log Analyzer -program: http://modthesims.info/d/416883

Also, your graphics card - ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4250 - isn't good. See card list here...
