Default Custom CAS/Launcher Thumbnails for preexisting .package files
OK, I know this topic has already been addressed a lot, so I'm a bit embarrassed to be asking. But I've read everything I can find, and I still don't seem to be able to get this working.

I have several dehairified hats and fantasy accessories for which no custom thumbnail was created. That means that I have a bunch of game-generated thumbnails of empty earlobes, wrists, etc., that I have to click in CAS to figure out what they are.

I'd like to add custom thumbnails to these packages. I've seen instructions for adding these manually in s3pe, but so far I haven't been able to make it work. The threads where I found this discussed weren't tutorials and assumed more S3PE knowledge than I have. (I can import and export resources, and I can set CASP attributes, but that's all I know so far.) I haven't found a THUMB resource in any of my CC packages to use as an example -- some of which I know DO have custom thumbnails already. The only place I've actually seen a THUMB resource is in CASThumbnails.package.

I also saw a tutorial for S3OC that indicated that you could add a thumbnail that way. I downloaded the application, and it sure LOOKS like it allows you to add/replace thumbnails, but so far I haven't gotten that working either.

I saw threads pointing to CTU. I downloaded that, but for some reason it crashes. I do have .Net 2.0.

So that's my whole saga. Does anyone have any guidance to offer?

OK, actually, I think I finally figured it out. I have custom thumbnails appearing in CAS. Woot.

So here's another question -- is it possible to add LAUNCHER thumbnails to an existing package? I ask this because I use CC Magic, and it appears to display the launcher thumbnail. (I think -- I'm not completely clear on types of thumbnails yet.) Being able to see a thumbnail of the CC I'm organizing is invaluable. I know packages can have launcher thumbnails because about half of my package CC already has them. From reading around, it looks like TSRWorkshop includes them by default.
