Default Sims 3 slow on my computer
Hi.

My game is slow on my computer, so that I haven't played it for a long time now, because it's no fun this way since things take long to load/ save.

It can't be because of the graphics since the computer is working real hard also when I don't have anything but the wall of a house on my screen.

Maybe someone can tell me what causes the lags.

OS: Windows XP Home Edition
CPU: AMD Sempron 3200+, MMX, 3DNow, ~1.8GHz
RAM: 1024 MB RAM
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce 9400 GT
MANUFACTURER/MODEL: ASUSTek Computer INC. M2V

Your computer isn't really strong enough for TS3 - your graphics are ok, your RAM is borderline, and your CPU is weak. You can try normal performance boosting stuff like turning off background processes (such as IM programs, music players) and ensuring your anti-virus isn't doing any scans when you play, and defragmenting your hard drive might help with save/load times; but to be honest, with that machine, slowness is to be expected.

What I lack in decorum, I make up for with an absence of tact.
