Default making locals
I have searched without luck if there is a thread on this please post a link directing me there...

I have made a vacation spot using bon voyage but when i am on the island it wont let me create families for the island.. like townies.. how do i do this?

If i remember right you must first make the hood with the base game and bon voyage only as a main hood then after it is done you convert it to a vacation spot.

You may be able to do it now but you will need only the base game and bon voyage only and place it in the reg. Neighborhoods folder in C:\Users\(your computer name)\Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2\Neighborhoods

If you're making custom locals, I think you'll need Argon's Townie Brick to do the job. Other mods may be successful in converting Sims into vacation locals, but they won't be able to perform the local gestures. The townie brick is the only tool that correctly gives custom locals their gestures.
