Default Problem Recolouring an Object
Hello, so I just got around to reinstalling the sims and started building a videogame shop, using a recoloured game rack I got here: (http://www5.modthesims.info/download.php?t=196961), and the maxis game rack worked fine. Later however, when I went to place the rack for these custom games: (http://www5.modthesims.info/download.php?t=294931) I discovered it doesn't appear to use repositoried textures, so I fired up Sim PE to add the recolours myself. When I opened the new game rack with the Object Workshop though and chose the recolor option, the resource list came up empty upon creating the file.
I've recoloured plenty of objects in the past but this is the first time I've run into this problem where the resource list is empty and the object doesn't appear to be slaved to anything (as it doesn't share the maxis game rack's recolours)
Can anyone possibly shed some light on this for me?
Huge thanks in advance!

An empty resource list means the object is not recolorable or you don't have the correct EPs in the file table. The game rack was made recolorable with the CEP, so the original creator likely didn't have the CEP installed when cloning the rack so it is not recolorable.

Ah, that's a shame. Oh well, there's nothing for it then. As I probably won't be using those particular game racks on more than one lot I worked around it by changing the texture in the main package itself to the one I wanted, and while it's not perfect I'm satisfied.

Thanks a lot for the reply!
Cheers
