Just installed the Ultimate Edition of Sims 2, and there's two issues I've had upon making a neighborhood.

One, I'll have duplicates of a lot in my lots bin. It's all default houses, and I have no custom content installed. For example, I've got two Doc Alan's Hangout in the bin. Either it's a duplicate, or for some reason it repeats itself as I'm scrolling through the houses bin.

Two, I seem to be having problems placing a lot anywhere. Spots where I could normally place a lot is now not allowed. The neighborhood itself is Pleasantview, so maybe it's a problem with that?

If anyone can help, that'd be appreciated!

First make a copy of your Downloads folder and your hoods you want to keep and place them on your desktop.
Then delete the "UC" folder and or The Sims 2 folder from My Doc.
In Origin right click on The Sims 2 icon for UC and select repair but make sure you save your hoods to your desk top or you could lose them.
