Default Sims 2 Mesh Extraction
Hi All,

I've just put a post up in Beta Testers for a brand new SimPE plugin. It allows you to extract the Sims 2 3d meshes into a common file format so people can see how objects, body meshes and clothing is constructed.

See http://forums.modthesims2.com/showthread.php?p=86353

Big thanks to phervers and Quaxi for their help, and whatsittoya for the RCOL file format in the wiki

Regards
Delphy

Default sims2 mesh extraction
hi Delphy,

you are doing a great job for us 3d object makers... your work is highly appreciated. i am working on SimPE and making some recolors for the time being.. the mash extraction is a huge leap... but i think you must concentrate on extracting unwrap maps of the objects... that will be great for the time being... i am anxiously waiting for a tool to make 3d objects from scratch for sims2...
keep up the good work and pls dont hesitate to ask for any help we can do for you...
