Default Problems with downloading sims3
I'm trying to download The Sims 3, and its at the very very end. But then it comes up and says

Crc error: The file C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\GameData\Shared\Packages\FullBuild1 .package doesn't match the file in the setup's .cab file. The medium from which you are running the setup may be corrupted; contact your software vendor.

What does this mean?!?

can anyone please tell me how figure this out

I'm assuming you mean you're trying to download it legally from EA. If so, you'll need to contact them about it.

So are you downloading it (from online) or installing it (with a disc)?

It means there was an error when you installed.

Have you tried cleaning the disc? Game Help:Installwiki
