Oh yay! I made a post about Don a little while ago, not realizing this post already existed.

Typically, in my game, he knocks up Cassandra but leaves her at the alter and then kind of lives his life as a Casanova for the rest of his life. Sometimes, if Cassandra has a boy, he will follow in his footsteps. Sometimes, I have him marry Nina. Sometimes Nina marries someone else. Or gets knocked up by Don. Or someone else. Dina normally doesn't have a kid, and I don't like family trees to end in the first (playable) generation. :P

Now, though, in TS2 I am going to have him knock up Cassandra and then "disappear" (die) in the game, because he's been teleported back in time to Riverview. Don't know what exactly I'll have him do in Riverview yet, though.

I might one day finish my Zanes Hollow project, but I wouldn't hold my breath. Until then, you can see what I'm up to on my Simblr!

He's currently not doing much in my new iteration of Pleasantview, as I'm on the UNI students on their seasonal rotation. I'll have to give him a makeover first, if I haven't done so already.
I may make him Casual WooHoo with Nina and/or Dina (Dina is currently trying to win over Malcolm Landgraab (currently living with her)) and maybe Kaylynn (who is currently living with Daniel after they got caught doing the dirty).

I may also make him buy a Downtown lot (with "borrowed" money coming from a certain someone in the Caliente household) and convert it into a brothel.

The drop off has been made. You've been warned.

I just got my game back and I think i'll have him get Nina, Cassandra, Kaylynn and Dina all pregnant... Maybe Brandi too...

I had an idea of taking all the premade adults (Like Brandi, Nina, Don,) and aging them down to teenagers and making them live together. I think I wanted Mortimer, Bella, Don, Nina, Dina, Brandi, Daniel and Mary-Sue to live together. I also want the more than 8 sims on a lot hack but I don't know where to find it.

If I ever get that Medieval version of Pleasantview I've been planning up and running, (if still have a long list of things to download and need a lot of practice in constructing liverable castles/manor houses) Don (renamed Don Vincente de Lothario, with "Don" being his title rather than name) will be a member of King Mortimer's court and employed as Prince Alexander's tutor.

He and the Caliente sisters (who will be employed as Cassandra's ladies-in-waiting) will be exiles from their homelands to the south and will scheme to marry into the royal family of the Goths to gain the power and resources to return to, subjugate and rule over the lands they have been exiled from.

Over the years, I've had many iterations of Don Lothario. I've had him settle down and marry, I've had him sew his wild oats all over town, and I've had him die unceremoniously all alone. In my current Pleasantview, Don married Cassandra despite his various vices and affections. He made his wife absolutely miserable with his lazy, sloppy habits, as well as his stalwart refusal to even discuss having a child. Towards the end of their marriage, they barely spoke to each other at all.

Don was, of course, entertaining a large swath of women outside of his marriage. He lost his job sometime into it, and just never disclosed this to Cassandra. He utilized the time he would have been at work to go out on dates and sneak women home and into bed. Some notable ones were Florence Delarosa, Lilith Pleasant, Jennifer Burb, and Stella Roth. Eventually, spurred by the death of her father, Cassandra decided she had had enough of Don and disintegrated their marriage and cut him off from her funds.

He moved in with Florence Delarosa, with whom he'd already had three children, under the assumption that he'd help her raise the kids. His daughters adore him, and his toddler son has never known a life without his father. They are Clementine, Cordelia, and Thatcher Lothario-Delarosa, respectively. Don quite values his children, and is a good father, if nothing else.

He used up most of Florence's savings to open up Casa Casanova, a casino in Downtown Pleasantview. She is waiting rather impatiently to see a return on her investment. He enjoys running his business, and the casual nature of his relationship with Florence. She has never expected anything at all from their relationship, and is content to have him in the home, caring for the kids, and occasionally in her bed. They both are dating other people outside their relationship, though only Florence feels serious enough about her prospects to bring them home to meet the family.

I think I burned his house down.

And you may ask yourself, "Am I right? Am I wrong?"

He spent the last 2 years I've been playing my megahood just finding his way to 20 simultaneous lovers after Cassandra broke off the engagement. These included Patricia Wan (before she married), lots of different townies, Angela Pleasant, Lucy Burb, Heather Huffington, Kaylynn Langerak and many many more.

Over the years he had three kids - Abacus Curious was the first, with Chloe Curious as his mother. He looks exactly like Don, other than the alien skin tone. Angelina Wirth, with Sharon Wirth - who has his skin tone, face and black hair but his mother's dark eyes, and Tiffany Langerak, daughter of Kaylynn Langerak, with black hair, his skin tone and his bright green eyes. He sees them on Saturdays when he's not working, which is few and far between, but he calls them up on the phone often enough to maintain a good relationship with them (which is more than I can say for most Sims who don't live with their parents)

He fulfilled his LTW (the 20? 30? lovers one) 3 days before becoming an elder. He has a secondary family aspiration so his next want was "reach golden anniversary" and he rolled a fear of being old and never married. So I decided which one of his lovely girlfriends shall he marry. I was considering Lucy Burb for a while, but on her last day of university she got engaged to Gallagher Newson. Plus, the two would have pretty boring looking kids and Don's children are all already pretty but plain. In the end I just told my friend to pick a number between 1-30 and he chose 8. So Don't married the 8th woman in his phone book - Calista Fuchs, an ex-townie with an adopted son named Henry. She too is a romance Sim with a family secondary, so I guess they kinda match if you ignore the fact that neither one of them actually wanted to marry the other. Soon after their marriage they tried for a baby, and we're successful. I've just moved them into a new home together with enough room for Henry and his future siblings.

The only time I have ever played him, he married Daisy, the child of one of my custom sims. She was a family sim, so they had a few children. They were living with her family because she needed the help with the kids, and Don's a bit of a freeloader. But, Cassandra stalked him endlessly. She was always just hanging around outside the house. It was kind of creepy. She never tried to come in and she usually did't even try to talk to him. She didn't dump the garbage or steal the paper. She just was there, almost constantly. Finally, Daisy had enough. She told Don it was time they found another house to live in.

I always just move him out, and delete him. Cassandra marries some random dude, or Darren Dreamer.

You shouldn't delete Sims from the family bin. It corrupts your neighourhood.

Default A True Lothario
When I first opened Don's lot I invited both the Caliente sisters over and impregnated Dina. Nina walked in and became furious with both. I said goodbye to them both (lol they can deal with that at home!) and waited for the maid Kaylynn to come over. He impregnated her. I then proceeded to use the matchmaking service to get 2 women to go on a date with Don, I used cheats to make them like eachother enough for him to ask each of them to move in. Both of them impregnated with the Tombstone of L and D. Sped up the pregnancies and both kids were girls. I moved each of the women out with their babies and I plan to set them up in the town somewhere to play out their story which is t.b.d. Kaylynn used the matchmaking service to get a female date and they're so in love. She's pregnant with Don's triplets but she's moved out with her girlfriend ready to be moved into a house somewhere in Pleasant View. I'd like Don to settle down soon with Nina so I'm thinking about creating a sim perfect for Dina, having him move in with her, then using SimPE to make the baby/babies she's pregnant with have this new character as their father so that Nina can have children with Don without making the children between Nina and Dina cousins but also siblings cos that's kind of weird lol. And so far, that's where I'm at.

Don and Cassandra married, against the wishes of her father, Mortimer, who believed that Don was no good. So, Cassandra was cut off from the family funds (a huge disappointment for Don, whose main objective was getting the money). They moved back to Don's place and she had twin boys (Donovan and Donatello). Meanwhile, Don was hooking up with both Nina Caliente and Kaylynn Langerak, each ended up having his daughters (Donna Caliente and Dawn Langerak). Do you see a pattern in the names? Haha. When Cassandra was pregnant a second time, she caught on to Don's cheating and broke up with him. She ended up moving in with Darren Dreamer, and gave birth to Don's twins (Cassius and Mortimer). Don has almost no contact with any of his kids and is now hooking up with his current maid, Nessie Mercer. She has moved in and had twins and triplets with Don (Callum & Isla; Moira, Fiona, & Carmine).

I've played Pleasantview in various iterations over the years and done lots of different things with him. Originally I'd marry him to Dina every time and change his aspiration to family, but I got bored of doing that.
Then I'd get him married to Cassandra and be a faithful husband but that got dull.

The last time I had him he sowed his wild oats for a while then got Kaylynn pregnant and so she moved in and had baby Lomond. Then not long after she got pregnant with their second child, Lexie. Don continued to see other people and Kaylynn wanted to get married but it was nice playing them in that setup where they were both kind of happy but not quite. Eventually they got married when Don turned elder and their kids were teens.

In this playthrough, Don married Cassandra, and had a son, Ben. Then once again got Kaylynn pregnant, but she has never told him and had their daughter, also called Lexie, in the apartment trailer park. Cassandra got him cheating and so left him so Don is once again alone in his condo but now with a son who he keeps in contact with, and a daughter he doesn't even know exists.

Well, naturally, Don WooHoo... es? s?... Whatever, he has many women at first. There is a change of heart and mind in the end when his hair turns grey, but he mostly dies alone or occasionally with Dina. Not because I dislike him, but the way the game depicts Romance sims just forces me to keep them away from the world. I do not want my Kaylynn and Nina hurt! I know I could change his aspiration once he has, ahem, enjoyed his virility, but the truth is that I do not feel he will be happy as a Fortune sim or anything else. I am %95 in for characters maturing and gradually changing for the better in different stages, but Don is part of that %5 who has to remain as the game introduced him. Fact is, his change of heart is slow. Too slow.

So, yeah, he has plenty of children he does not know exist. He never, never, NEVER marries Cassandra (although one day I will venture and explore that path, I promise) and Nina catches him cheating on her with Dina more often than not, meaning they do not last that much.

Anyway, Don is not evil. He just cannot be loyal. Commitment is not for him.

I had Don and Cassandra marry once. The wedding went ahead smoothly, right until just after they stepped away from the wedding arch... at which point the ghosts came out to haunt, one of them drifted right through Cassandra, and while I was sorting out the resulting reactions from nearby Sims Don wandered off and started flirting with Nina. As Dina, Kaylynn and various others were also guests at the wedding, we then had a round of slapped faces. Or two.

And then a limousine showed up to take Don and Cassandra off on honeymoon to Twikkii Island, and I'm rather afraid that she went without him.

The marriage didn't last.

One time when I played him, letting him refuse to marry Cassandra, her father SHOT Don (a mod). One time, after impregnating half the town, I made HIM get pregnant. It only seemed fair. But I had a "harder pregnancy" mod, and - having partied hard just hours before his delivery - he died right after child birth. Social worker took the baby. And one of the women who continued to REALLY love him (don't remember who) adopted his baby.

Stand up, speak out. Just not to me..

Over the years I've done a lot with him. When I was a kid I had this storyline I'd repeat each time I'd have to reinstall Pleasantview with him and Nina getting kids, and her becoming the Vampire Queen and killing Don.
I still like to pair him with Nina, occasionally also with others, and getting him alien pregnant. I think the only thing I haven't done with him is having him marry Cassandra, and I probably never will do that.

In my current neighbourhood I haven't done that much with him yet. So far I've only had a young, beautiful lady sim dress him up in diapers and changing them whenever he dirtied them:

ACR caused him to mess up Mortimer and Dina's wedding by flirting with Nina and Dina. Cassandra hated him for a while and then ultimately forgave him. She got pregnant and they married and she eventually came home from work to catch him in an affair and took the kid and moved out on her own. After Mortimer died, Dina married Don and their descendants inherited the Goth fortune (while both Alexander and Nina and Mortimer's child were kicked out and left penniless).

Anyway, another story for some fun with Don

-He's married Dina and had affairs on the side
-He married Cassandra and had affairs on the side, until she caught him and divorced him
-Once he married Nina. Once. It didn't last long... Too many affairs
-He married Kaylynn
-He married Brandi
-He stayed single and died alone

Oh, this thread sounds fun! I have, in the past (all different hoods)

-Made him run away from Cassandra's wedding and continue his ways until his death.
-Made him part of a large, really weird storyline that I ended up dropping involving my CAS sim sisters where he was dating both of them behind the family sim's back and the romance sim's knowledge. The romance sim had a kid, who was raised as the family sim's kid and kept away from Don at all costs. However, the kid still managed to meet him in his teenage years, and they ended up being very, very similar. He was gorgeous, I may try to bring him into a different hood under a different name.
-I was planning on having him try to get with a sim high up on the poitical totem pole and then they expose him, the scandal ruining his chance at having a career. I didn't plan much else, but he'd probably become a criminal.
