Default Blurry recolors
I very recently learned how to recolor my own frames. I have successfully recolored frames using the meshes here: http://threadandsandpaper.dreamwidth.org/1871.html and the polaroids here: http://curiousb.dreamwidth.org/20426.html. I just stick to the in game pictures I take using Razer game booster. They're in .png format and high quality. I use Photoshop (using Bicubic Sharper) to reduce the images if needed. On SimPE I use build DXT, using the DXT3 compression. The default setting is smoothen but I set it to none like it says on the tutorial here: http://modthesims.info/t/102356. My recolors using these meshes turn out fine and they look sharp enough for me.

Anyway, I tried applying the same process using a different mesh, Aikea's half height wall writing mesh. The recolors are quite blurry and pixelated, not like the recolors I made using the 2 meshes mentioned above Any tips on how I can make the recolors using this mesh sharper? Should I use a different setting (such as sharpen/smoothen) or should I switch to DXT5 instead?

Here's how blurry they are:
