Default Reminder: Extended downtime from 22nd August onwards
Hi All,

As I posted about a while ago ( https://modthesims.info/showthread.php?t=483061 ), MTS, SexySims, and the Wiki will all have extended downtime from tommorow onwards as I switch the systems over to the new server.

Currently everything runs on a system I call maia, with the DNS being co-hosted between CloudFlare and another server called daphne (props to whoever gets the reference between maia and daphne). From tommorow I will be moving them to the new server that I got as the rests of the donation drive - this server is called lillith.

I'll be shutting the systems off in the afternoon CET. If you want to be updated as to the progress of the move, you can see my twitter feed here: http://www.twitter.com/delphymts

Well if people want to they're welcome to come into mine in the downtime. I usually have sims3 modding bias in there but I'm happy to open up for general socialising or other rubbish for the few hours or days MTS will be down

But Lilith wasn't a nymph, and she tended to be a troublemaker... Why is the new server called Lilith?

The new server is not Lilith, it's Lillith (2 l's).

Chat will be down until the DNS resolves to the new server which could take 24 to 48 hours. Everything else *should* be working. If not, please let me know.

Well that was so quick I missed it. I was online this morning before work, saw a message that said 10 minutes to downtime, then when I came home from work it said it was back up. I wonder what changes have been made to the site because of the new switch.

The chats.. dear God, the chats! They're out for possibly a day or two.. this requires immediate Defcon 4 - Tits and Sexytime Overhaul! As soon as it returns! This is mandatory, otherwise we could loose all Sexytime funds!

Currently, I'm having trouble uploading images to the wiki, is this due to the new server?

I'm getting this error:

I was lurking last night already, but it's great to wake up to a new morning and visit the site as one of the first things. Yay for fast upgrade!
