You know, I never even noticed dented baby heads. This makes me want to play my non-patched game and see if I can recreate half of this list. Especially the horse-poop eating. I have to have a shot of that before patching up.

It appears EA is getting ready to release an Alien world from the looks of the latest poll. So perhaps its a little teaser.

Those 50 simpoints should really have been 50 simoleons. Hope they at least added a separate collection folder for that sort of objects. The lists are cluttered as they are, no need to add the whole store to them too.

Well, here's confirmation of trippy new trees. The brillo pad terrain paint is there too.

I couldn't find the bed in that screenshot or any other store stuff in the catalog so far, but I did find a file called "Featured Items" with images of four items in the store, one them the bed, in the Sims 3 folder in My Documents, these items are in there somewhere.


EDIT - I tried enabling Shop Mode under options, and got the store crap to show up in the catalog.


So there's some good news; the stuff only shows up with Shop Mode enabled. Probably still boating up the game, but at least it's invisible if we want it to be.

Hmm, now the baby swing is on sale? This is a load of mularky! Not only will there be more bloatness in my Electronic Arts/The Sims 3 files, but will they also be streaming this mess through Origins thus having to keep the game on the internet?

Okay, I just seen the new image with the "shop mode". So it only shows if shop mode is on?

So it only happens when store mode is activated? Thank bejeesus. I was really about to get mad. Still a low blow to everyone who goes out and spends tons of money buying the game

Psh, oh well. If EA is prepared to go down that route than I'm ready. There are plenty of other nice things out there I can spend my income on.
