Personaly, i am actually quite interested in buying the sims life stories. I hope its like the sims2 (details.. characteristics, gameplay) I love to write and often have trouble starting a story name or story starter that sounds appealing(like right now.. this is my situation) but.. this game will give me a chance to do all that then use the skills i have learnt to create my own. I can't wait!!

I'm really excited about life stories. After I installed Pets, even with no custom content, my poor laptop top just about died. It would take almost three hours to create a family! But this game looks really great, and I'm excited to be able to play the Sims again!

Default What a great game
I have a Ati X200 graphics card, well below the recommended card you should have and I must say this game is not only quick w/out lagging of any sort, but it's one of the best Sims games ever made, I'd say Sims 2 Pets is the best expansion out today though. This game is basically all the Sims2 and it's expansions combined into one game; it's better graphically, with a more fluid movement, and it seems to have much more to offer than you'd expect with the new Story Mode, I'd say if you're looking for the sims with all of the expansions, etc... buy this game It's only $30 at Walmart or Bestbuy and it's rather addicting. :howdy:

I still haven't got my copy yet, But my local Target said that it will be in on the 8th, which is tommorow. So I am hoping for it then. Yes I will buy The Sims 3, no I mean Get A Life, nope, I mean Life Stories.

And I don't even have a laptop. I am putting it on my school computer. Which always seems to lag with The Sims 2. But that's okay, because my brother's computer runs that game extremely well.

ok, just for the heck of it, I opened up LS again (good thing it's not uninstalled yet)
this is the hair we're talking about, yes?
I'm pretty sure that's the one that's meant on the box

the back part is a bit shorter than on the box, the picture is kind of a mix of this and the toddler hair, maybe, but it's pretty damn close
if you mean another hair than this, then no, it's not in Life Stories :smash:

god maxis,I wish i could give them beatings! lol!

I wish maxis would put all pre release clothes&hair in a StuffPack, they'd get a LOT of people buying it,coz everyone likes the stuff thats not in the game, and hates the stuff that IS in the game

Sims 2 runs and all the expansion packs run fine on my laptop albeit its a laptop I got only 6 months ago has the latest technology.
But I really have no interest in buying this, I wish Maxis or EA Games or whatever just made all the features in this available in the next expansion pack. It looks the exact same as the sims, like no new animations or interactions.

I'm super confused by the existence of this game. I want to know what it's all about, but all the press on the game and the comments from everyone on several different boards about this game seem to be in conflict with each other. From the articles I've read, it seems like it takes the gameplay of the console games and combines it with the gameplay of the base game for PC. Is this correct?

If that's the case, and it allows for CC, I might buy it. Because I did enjoy the console game Bustin' Out! Even though the graphics sucked in a very big way. But more specifically because my laptop does not support my game (my desktop barely supports it!) and I'd like to be able to lay in bed or sit on the couch and play while my boyfriend is watching sports. That would be a lovely compromise for us.

Well I have it on my PC at home, cause that one doesnt support The Sims 2. But I also have it on my aunts PC alongside Sims 2. SO I play both, especially when I want access to the net and PC then I use Life Stories.
