This user has the following games installed:

Sims 3, Late Night, Generations, Pets, Supernatural, Seasons, University Life, Island Paradise
Default Deleted my DCCache Files
I accidentally deleted my dccache files while on my crazy cleaning rampage... but I have all my cc backed up to yesterday.
So I remerged my back up cc and put it in my mods folder, but I am still missing some cc in my game. My dccache back up folder is not as updated unfortunately, would it be potentially harmful if I put the files in an old back up in my games current file?

um... did you empty your trash bin? If you didn't, just restore them.

Otherwise... hopefully someone here can offer suggestions. But from what I understand, dccache stores unpacked sim3pack files, not files in mods folder.

I'm not entirely sure what you mean by this.

So what I did was I had an old DCCache back up folder with the items I had deleted in it (but it was a few months old and not updated) I put them into my games current folder and most of my cc came back from doing this, however some items did not. Knowing that DCCache is for sims3pack makes me wonder... because most of the things I download are in package form, or I convert them to be package. Can it still read that it is a sims3pack even though it's converted, and therefor it's vanished?

I did empty the trash bin, unfortunately, lol.
