My wishes:
In buildmode:
- Sides of floortiles that can currently be recolored to have the same lighting as walls so they can blend better.
- The option to recolor chimneys and roofs.
- The ability to create split level stairs without the need of cheats that distort wall textures/
- The ability to create slopes between 2 points of different heights in an easier way (drag from a high spot to a low spot and automaticly "level" the terrain into a nice even slope between those points).
- The option to change the height of foundations and walls with an easy slider.
- Spiral stairs with actual tops instead of weird holes in the floor.
In buymode:
- Diving boards. It's the one item I really do not understand that they did not include them from the get go.
In CAS:
- Very unlikely they will add this because it requires to change the way animations are set up, but man I would so love a sims height slider! I want me some short chubbies running around!
Gameplay:
- Toddler to toddler interactions.
- More kid to toddler interactions.
- Have sims greet eachother when a familymember comes home.
- Bring back the happy "I can't wait to show my mum and dad that I got an A in school!" interaction.
- Make the choise of which place sims sit on more logical (ready making your food? sit at the freakin table next to you instead of the one three rooms away. Want to read a book? Find a nice lounge chair or couch (in that order). Want to do homework or work on your notebook? Only use a dining table if that is no office desk close. Etc.).
- Generally speaking make sims more social. Atm they act like they live alone even in big families most of the time.
- Return to the way cars were used in The Sims 2 with all the interactions and animations. I know some say that this would make it impossible to place cars on roofs or platforms, but 1. who the heck places his car on the roof?! Do you have a big crane ready to lift it up there and off again whenever you want? and 2. If it is truly so important to keep that option then just make the game act like it does now if the car can't find a route to the parking spot.
- Make sims on full autonomy more likely to leave the house and go to a park or something (I have yet to see a single playable sim leave the lot on his or her own).
Okay that's all I can think off at the moment, but I'm sure there are a lot of other things that will come to mind the moment I press the "Submit Reply" button.
