Default Meshing Clothes in 3ds Max
Hi Guys

I'm experienced with meshing objects in Max. Now I'm moving onto clothes I've downloaded the SMD plugins so that I can import/export without losing the bone assignments - although I'm not too sure about how to use them? I got the mesh into max, but it had made some random planes below the model and the actual clothes had a "skin" modifier applied?

Anyone who could give me any advice on how to work this would be much appreciated

I'm using TSR workshop to clone the clothes.

Default I know of a website...
There was a website I visited a while back teaching me how to use the Skin Modifier on JKA (Jed Knight Jedi Academy) player models. It teaches you how to use the skin modifier and to setup the hiearchy (for JKA though, you may want to find the hiearchy for the sims 3 models though).

Here is the site: http://www3.sympatico.ca/psykopat/t...in_modifier.htm

you best use the good old obj format to get the meshes in Max but before that you save the bone/skeleton data within a objx file

You do need Milkshape for that tho...
