Perhaps a bit off-topic, but why do some of you post multiple songs? ...Are you listening to all those songs at once?

Do you listen to the same song over and over?
Practically all the songs I list here are songs I have either in my MP3 folder or on CD, and that I listen to fairly frequently.

Interesting tidbit that most here probably don't know: Besides the song obviously being about Atenism, the part where the lyrics say "Is-Ra, Is-Ra, Israel?" is in reference to how the Kmt's (Ancient Egyptians) felt their Israelite neighbors were on a lesser spiritual path as their system was based on monotheism.

The only song I like from this overrated artist, probably because it emphasizes instrumentation instead of his god-awful singing.

I posted the last few songs I was listening to before entering this thread, because it'd be pointless to post what I'm listening to right now because it would be the same as what someone just posted.
Maybe it's just me, but I'm actually listening to these that you all post. I need some new tunes and the ones on the radio sucks.

Resident wet blanket.

That is a lovely song choice. Didn't think anyone here even knew of that song. @GnatGoSplat

Nothing, because I think there was a HUGE crackdown on music on mobile. Even small bands have been affected, apparently. And I thought it would be a great idea to get rid of my old CD player.
We have a crisis over here.
UPDATE - F*cking hell, they even took down the official channel videos.
Clearly, this seems unintentional.

This is what passed for entertainment in the 70s. No wonder I couldn't wait for that decade to end.

Just got introduced to this by a tourist. Lovely song. It fits perfectly in this ones ever growing collection of Lounge/Downtempo.

Cler Achel- Tinariwen
Its the first song on the Aman Iman album by Tinariwen, a group of Tuareg musicians. We've had this album for like forever, and I've always liked this song.
I guess this is what its like to not understand what is being said in a song

Not just a song really, but online broadcast of a radio station in ones area. Not exactly favorite station, but certainly better than the tourist radio (Nile FM).
