This user has the following games installed:

Sims 2, University, Nightlife, Open for Business, Pets, Seasons, Bon Voyage, Free Time, Apartment Life
Default Sims 2 - How can I make lots residential?
Public lots. How do I make them residential so I can use them for a house? Thanks

You will need to use cheat codes, changelotzoning residential, for the change itself, and moveobjects on so you can delete the previous mailbox/trash bin and replace them with the downloaded one.
Of course, back up your neighbourhood beforehand, not that it's very complicated but still
