i can't download anything from mod the sims with a mac i have the recent mac computer and when i try to download something the sims 3 launcher just freezes and when i quit and start it back up and try it again it does the same thing! the only sims mods i could get is from TSR (the sims resource) Please Help

Sorry about the problems you're having, but you'll probably get more help if you post this somewhere like the Sims 3 Help section.

I'm not sure how Macs work, as I've only had experience with PCs, but many mods available here are in package format, whereas many mods at TSR are Sims3Packs. Packages need to go into your Mods folder, but you'll need to create one yourself following the guide here. Of course, you may have already done all this and are still having problems, in which case I hope someone can help you.

you dont try to install packages through the launcher do you? that doesnt work of course. you really only "move" packages into an existing framework as mentionend above. EAs launcher is only for sims3packs. maybe the cc basics (wiki) are something you should read. if still problems arise delete this thread here and go to the help section. dont forget to mark your thread as OS-X related since not a majority of people are familiar with macs.
