This user has the following games installed:

Sims 2, University, Nightlife, Open for Business, Pets, Seasons, Bon Voyage, Free Time, Apartment Life
Default Custom Content not working on The sims 2 UC [Windows 7 64bit]
Hello, I want to start this post saying that I'm new on forums, never used forums. So, if I do some mistake, you can teach me how to use it . Also, sorry for my english. I'm Italian so is not my native language but I'll do my best.

So, the problem is that I have installed The sims 2: Ultimate collection from Origin and wanted to install some CC. They're all .package files so it should go in Documents\EA Games\The sims 2 Ultimate Collection \ Downloads\, Right? Well. I did it and They don't show up!

I've also tried to reinstall the game but still doesn't fix my issue.

This is my Folder with mods:

I remember that months ago I did mod my game and it worked very well!

I've tried to
  • Reinstall my game
  • Reinstall mods
  • Enabling mods in game
  • Use of Sims2Pack Clean Installer (Was this its name?)
  • Praying gods (Still not working)

Also After we fixed this problem, could you link me some clothes modpack for male adult sims? :o

Is your Downloads folder spelt with a capital D?
Did you check the CC is enabled? Button with 3 dots (Options) Then cog wheel (Game Options) Catalogs display custom content. Mmake sure that is set to on.
Did you after loading, save exit and reload? often that's all you need to do.
Try running as the Administrator.
Make sure your Download folder isn't set to Read Only.

Reinstalling is 9 times out of 10 not the fix, thats the last thing to do.
The UC has a fix function instead of reinstalling. Just right click the game in Origin and fix. (Probably won't help for this)

Can you post a link of what you are trying to download.

Was it a recolour? if so you need CEP.

If the item is new clothing, which I see there did you also grab the mesh?

Before you get too many items I recommend you start tidying that up by making other folders. 'Clothes', 'Hair' 'Mods'

Hi thanks for the reply Seems that I was Dumb. I have Two Directories of the game (One was a backup that doesn't run with origin) so I installed mods into the Backup's directory. So I managed to move everything in the correct game folder.

Also, do you know some good modpack for male sim ?
