So I'm having a problem with doors that started a while back and I'm not sure what's causing it. Essentially, everytime walls are up and I mouseover a door, any action my active Sim is doing (and any queues as well) gets interrupted and canceled, and if I move the mouse a few times over a door, they spin in place a few times. I can't really show a picture because it only happens when I move my mouse over a door, but to give an example, if a Sim is sitting down at the kitchen table to eat, he'll remain in a seated position during the bug but he'll be turned away from the table and will no longer be sitting on a chair.

I have the base game, all the EPs and all the stuff packs. This problem happens with all doors except for college dorm doors. It also happens on both residential lots, community lots and dorm lots. I used the conflict detector, but to be perfectly honest, I don't know how to interpret its results.

I also have a few questions. First, someone at the LJ community suggested that "Bad gosub tree number" usually refers to "When you have a BHAV in a format for an EP you don't have." However, I have all of the EPs and SPs, so could the reverse be true? Ie could an AL mod, for example, cause a problem in a game that has M&G? Second, isn't there a way to tell from the error file which BHAV file is causing the problem?

Also, a small note: I deleted the double of the Risky Woohoo mod that started with "zz" since this error file was saved, and I also got rid of Dickhurt's watering mod for half-tiles since his other one covers half-tiles too. Now, here is the error file. Any help would be much appreciated.

Yes, a mod made for an older EP than your most recent one can cause the same kinds of problems as a mod made for an EP you don't have; and indeed, that's the cause here, you have some broken CC. As it's affecting doors my first thought would be a door locking/control mod. Whatever it is is not listed in that error log, which suggests that it's not a conflict between two mods but a single mod which is incompatible with your game (but that's not a conclusive suggestion).

I had a similar issue, but mine was on fence gates. It possibly was on doors too, but since I play with walls down, I never checked. Mine was solved when I took this mod out of my DL folder. I really can't remember if it was conflicting with something, and I really didn't test once I figured out what was causing the issue. So if you're using that mod, try pulling it and see if that fixes things. And once it does, you can try leaving it in and pulling parts of of your DL folder to find what it might be conflicting with.. Oh, I have all EPs and SPs if you need to know. ~VP

That is a lot of conflicts. I notice that you have some mods as well doing the same thing, for example LTWvariety changes who can get which LTW, and the one about all aspirations means that anyone can get any LTW. Those two things are mutually exclusive so you need to choose one.

Google each mod name to find out what the mod exactly does if you're not sure, and where you have two immediate conflicts like this, choose one and delete the other. Where the conflict is not that huge (ie, they do similar but not exactly the same and perhaps could be compatible) then read the documentation carefully to see if it's a load order issue. And while you're reading up on this, check installation procedure, especially for custom stairs. I'm not going to read through your entire list and google them for you it's a good 30 minutes' or so's work. Although the other thing which jumped out at me was AL fixes - there was a recent thread on the sims 2 discussion board here about that mod which you might want to take a look at.

Custom fences, walls, doors and gates can be troublesome. It might help to do 50/50 on that category of CC.
