So the game updated to 1.69 recently, and it came with the ability to select which expansion to use. All fine and dandy, in fact I've been waiting for a feature like this, but I think it's bugged, or it bugs out on me.

Occasionally when I click play, the launcher will minimize to tray instead of closing, then the game will open. And then when I close the game, the launcher is still in the tray. Closing it and then reopening the game will reset all my settings, only loading the base game. I have to close and readjust the settings a few times until it saves, until the launcher minimizes the tray again and the whole cycle begins. I am getting very annoyed with this, especially since loading times are unbearable.

Is there any fix? Has anyone else had this problem?

I have the game and every pack on Origin and if it makes any difference, I have used the Any Game Starter mod before the patch. (EDIT: I mean this mod: http://www.modthesims.info/download.php?t=499140)
