Default Creating multiple, (almost) duplicate packages
I have a set of paintings in a package file made by someone else. Now, I would like to create a new package with more of my own paintings but I would also like to keep the original package and use that too. Is it possible to use the same package, just renamed and retextured, and still have both work in-game? I have a feeling the answer is going to be "no" (though I would be very pleased if it was yes! ). If it's not possible, would someone be able to tell me what I need to change in order to make both work?

all the following tutorials show examples of how to clone an EA mesh. But with S3OC, locate your package file and go to file>open package and that should be it:

Thank you!
When I was searching for information I think I was missing the vital word: "clone".
