Default Control Pets Mod
I'm aware of the cheat that allows you to control pets, but I often forget to apply it after each time I open the game. I was wondering if there was a mod that forces this cheat all the time, or at least a (safe) way to edit a file that may force it myself?

Go to your Sims 2 folder in Documents. Go to the Config folder and open up userstartup.cheat in a text editor.

Add these two lines:

Code: 
boolprop controlpets true
boolprop petactioncancel true


Save. There you go.
