Default Help picking a computer to run both the Sims 2 and Sims 3
Hi guys and gals,

Can someone who knows about computer specs help me find the right gaming computer? I'm mainly looking for a computer to hold all my Sims 2 games and the Sims 3. I've bought 3 different computers and each time their not strong enough to hold the Sims 3, so for Christmas I want a computer strong enough for all the Sims 2 games (which I already have) and all the Sims 3 games (which I'll purchase).

If you could post a link for me offering your suggestion it would mean the world to me

I apologize if this is in the wrong spot I just figured it wouldn't go in "general". Remember I want to hold ALL the sims 3 expansions and stuff packs as well.

Since you're looking for a computer for both Sims 2 and Sims 3, the computer forum may be more appropriate:
http://www.modthesims.info/forumdisplay.php?f=563

That forum has a helpful stickied thread:

You can also look at some of the threads in that forum, since this isn't an original question. You may find some good answers in other threads.

Along with that, you might want to answer the following questions: Which country are you in? What's your budget? Any possibility of salvaging things from your existing computer (monitor, mouse, keyboard, etc)?
