This user has the following games installed:

Sims 3, World Adventures, Ambitions, Late Night, Generations, Pets, Showtime, Supernatural, Seasons, University Life, Island Paradise, Into the Future
Default Does selling stuff to inactives fill their inventory forever?
I've only been playing S3 for a year and havent tried the selling pies in bakery set or the savvy seller collection yet even though I did get them.
My question is this: when I sell stuff to inactives, do they like keep it forever? If thats true, wont their inventory fill like till it gets the world laggy and stuff?
How to deal with that?

Unless you are playing with mods like those from Ani or NRaas Cupcake (version 6 or higher only, currently in beta testing) inactive sims do not own the objects they purchase. EA standard makes the objects disappear after the cash changes hands. Sims shop, even for baked goods, to relieve fun. Not hunger or because they actually have a need for the items.

Is there any way to make them actually keep the items?

Yes, by using mods like those from Ani or NRaas Cupcake (version 6 or higher only, currently in beta testing). Sorry if that wasn't very clear; I didn't include links because the OP was looking for just the opposite effect.
