I noticed that some Sims (sisters) have lost the ability to discuss their own books, they both have the memories of writing their first books. When they write their books it shows when delivered and in the bookcase. but the read and discuss custom novel menu items don't show up on bookselves when I reload the lot, as if they never wrote any book. Is this normal game behavior? I have a feeling that it isn't.

Is there anyway to keep them available I.e. to fix this apparent bug.
I think Russ Bear nicked them to sell for lots of money. Originals always sell for more with Russ.
