Yeah, is there something wrong with it? I linked to the thread, figuring more would be added later. If you scroll down and read the individual posts, people have links to their gifts.

But if it's more helpful, I was specifically talking about this post.

Phantomknight they probably can't see it.

Anyone not used to downloading from GOS, scroll to near the end of a post that you are interested in and somewhere near the bottom you will see something like Download. Mostly in the same size and type of text as the post and not always easy to see. They have no large download button. Some people do make it a bit larger or give separate links after each picture but most just do it in one link near the bottom.

About that Shadows link: I wanted the grunge clothes, and clicked on "AF everyday" and couldn't find "download". That's because they can't be downloaded separately, but are included with the makeup and hood deco. I was relieved to see that in the download package the items were in separate folders.

On GOS themes one download is common but 98% of people there will separate them into folders. Only one time I got something that wasn't-it may even be a site rule for uploading there, I am not sure.

Dezzy some of us have trouble seeing same coloured download text amongst the text. I am kind of aware of it so I know to hunt.

Thanks for explaining, Jo! I've been so used to downloading at GOS that I forgot that others new to the site might find it confusing; I just thought my links were bad.

So yeah, Garden of Shadows does monthly themes and has yearly events like Secret Santa, Blind Date, and Christmas in July. They may also do something for Halloween. Anyway, in all those threads, creators may make multiple things but put them in one zip file (and usually subfolder it in the zip). This especially since for some events, like the Blind Date and Secret Santa, creators aren't making them for the entire community but another GOS member & creator and then the receiver of the gift can choose to share their gift. Kinda the same concept as the Big Trade Off, if anyone remembers that on LiveJournal.

Also, for anyone who doesn't know, Garden of Shadows is pretty good about archiving and fixing old links so they have pages for events that go back years. You can find those here: http://gardenofshadows.org.uk/garde....php?board=57.0, or in case you need the Forum headings it's Whispers in the Dark -> Pixelated -> Quick! Into the TARDIS! Once the event has ended, they put links to all the downloads on the first page so it's easier to navigate. Also, also, creators started zipping pictures in with the files, so don't be too discouraged if there's no preview of everything.

A lot of the GOS stuff is uploaded to SFS. While I'm a member, I'm not logged in as one, and can still see everything nevertheless.

I fought myself over downloading this and did it anyway. I didn't want to suffer alone so... Here ya go!

They are an awesome sight to go through-something to please everyone. There's some paintings in there too. Wide variety, 5 pages worth.
