I have to say and just hope nobody thinks hi jacking a thread, but most 13 yr olds would'nt find classical art offensive! and I think they know more than most adults, seem alot older than 13 now adays!
kids atart ging to museums of art from 6,7,8 yrs and probably all have vague ideas of bodies! I think that the way it looks decides on hoe offensive it is!! thanx and sorry to be soooo boring! lol

is it possible to add the conclusions of the discussions in this thread to the openingpost? before we get all this "is it alright to do sims stuff? how about bikinis?!" by people who cannot be bothered to read the 4, 5, 6, 10, 30 pages with the answers in it?

there, i fixed that for you. what has happened to the state of entrepreneurship in this world that there is no other company to use for donations than paypal ? how frustrating for you to be forced to use a co. that has such odd values - i really appreciate you going to the trouble of setting up the new "adult" content site, but i sorely wish the rest of the world didn't have to bow to these misguided puritans.

if you can't be a good example, then you'll just have to be a horrible warning

Delphy gave the link a few posts up if you actually took the time to read- I was not allowed to give the link without permission- although the link sat in site news for a good 2 weeks before this thread began-
Reading is good for you

were you replying to me or to someone else? because if you did, i wasnt talking about the link, but about everything that classifies as "adult content". _ive_ read the entire topic, but when it gets to a couple of pages, lots of ppl dont bother reading and just post their question if the openingspost isnt satisfying. reading might be very good, but a few pages with "whats this?" "reading is good for you!" is just annoying, quite useless too, since it adds to the page/postcount and will prevent people from reading the whole topic, too. The OP is read rather thoroughly by everyone, so solves alot of double posts, no-hijacking requests, etc.

that said, too much hijacking from me

Me being 13 my self, am very happy that the adult stuff has been put on to a different site, i think it dossn't belong on sites where children are on. I've download of this site everyday, but a couple of times i've downloaded full sims, only to learn that in my game there arn't barbiefied, and with a 10 sister playing the game, it does concern me. I know that kinda sounds Overprotective, but i think some simmers don't think about who they are exposeing this stuff too. I remember a simmaster posting something on the sims2 site saying that people as young as seven play the game, so creators kinda need to becareful. It really was a great move to well move it all.

For the love of- Lyric, I am so terribly sorry you have to put up with this bull. PEOPLE, ACTUALLY READ! IT'S GOOD FOR YOU! IT RAISES IQS! I'm sorry if you're insulted, but too bad. It’s true.
LyricLee has already stated that the site URL will not be posted here. With good reason. Remember this is a site where thirteen year olds go, and if they browse this, because they're a creator and it tells them to, or they're just curious, they might find the URL. And what will happen then? Remember we were all thirteen once. I myself would have quite happily have made an account and lied about my age on the registration just so I could squeal at the naughty things. Now think of your children, nephews, nieces, neighbors, etc. Think of how you’d feel if you found out they were doing just what I would have at that age. Now, as an upset adult, what do you think you’d do, rationally realize that the staff members of the site can’t ID check people every time they enter the site, and as well, realize that it was the KIDS who lied about the age… or in your anger/horror/depression/whatever, complain to the staff, whine, flail and give grief to said staff?
Stop complaining here, and try actually PAYING ATTENTION TO THE NEWS SECTIONS. That way, you wouldn’t have missed the URL when it was up, during the announcement of the adult site.

P.S.
If you haven't noticed, it's even worse than that actually, since the poor staff have to deal with people UNDER thirteen lying about their age just to get on MTS2, let alone the adult site. So again, stop whining. If you want the site, actually DO something about it, not just complain. Ask people who know the URL in PMs, try varius searches on google, etc.

I have three responses to this
Firstly, people want the url from this site as, if they are like me, they enjoy the quality of the content from this site, and would like to see where the stuff went. If you do a search on google you will find SEVERAL adult sims2 sites, this does not help to find the contend that was formerly here.

Secondly, I am quite certail a 13 year old is just as capable of going to the google site (I will not list the url here do to the ramifications of me sending a 13 year old off to find something as gross as the body they were born with)

Finaly, once the thirteen year olds do find the site, what stops them from signing up there and seeing all the content?

You mention how reading can increase your IQ, I would agree to this only if the refrenced reading material is an actual book, which, in your case, clearly isn't.

i guess you'll still have that problem because people are allowed to upload sims with anatomically correct skins. which leads to another thing... we have to link the used content in which we'll have to link to the adult site. Has there been any thought about that? Or is that just "alright"?

Why are people complaining? The content is still avaliable, just not here.

I don't normally post much as I'm not a creator, but I'd like to add that I understand the need for an adult site. I do download adult content myself as I like my game to be realistic as possible (LyricLee, your anatomical correct male skins are the best!), but it's nice to know that, say, a ten-year-old isn't going to stumble across anything while innocently downloading sims clothes here.

I have exactly the same feelings as Rosired.

I won't wade through porn to get Enayla's skins or a statue of David. I suppose that is my problem, but stating it in a reasonable manner shouldn't bring out such rude, nasty responses.

I imagine the mods must be experiencing a great deal of pressure or they wouldn't have put in such absurd rules. I suspect that they are not happy about it either, but for some undisclosed reasons feel they must.

I feel badly for everyone, but I won't apologize for disliking the changes and stating so in a clear, non-confrontational manner.

I hope I dont get banned for posting this.

They have to move the stuff for legal reasons
I have never looked into the website regulations but from what I know about the world today I theorize that the site could possibly be destroyed depending on content.

Anything with a reference to discrimination = Destruction
Anything hosting illegal downloads = Destruction
Site 17 or younger: Nudity = Destruction
Site 14 or younger: Strong language, Drugs = Destruction
Site 12 or younger: Violance = Destruction
"I have no clue if any of this is accurate it is only a guess by me"

I have no objections to the decision because most likely it was made to save the website.

If there is any comments to be made on the modification of my avatar please send me a personal message.

You cannot stop the REVOLUTION.

The restrictions are being placed upon this site by PayPal. If we don't comply, they won't accept donation/subscriptions for the site, and without funding, the site will have to close.

Please don't PM me with questions. Post them in the appropriate thread.

Where is the adult site? Because I want to link to my skins, so that other can download it.

Edit:
My skins are deleted here. On http://www.sexysims2.com they aren't there. Do I have to upload them again?

I have to address this.

There is no such thing as "website regulations", the only regulations there are is by the hosting company.

At the start of the month The Pirate's Bay that is a torrent tracker site was raided by the police and their servers were taken down, about a week later they restarted with the servers being located in the Netherlands and some time after they returned to their original country, sweden.

There are some national regulations but those are always based on the server physical location country, the US despite do NOT rule the world and they most certainly do NOT regulate the Internet.

PayPal is lazy, they only act when someone report to then.

Insimenator for example have a "donate" button that works by PayPal and hosts adult content ... Peggy Sims have at least one anatomical correct skin and also funtions by PayPal.

And there are other options to PayPal.

OK now to address everyone else-

1-Delphy posted the link to the new adult site in this thread- please look for it......

2-We are working on a layout for the adult site that will have its own Artistic content section so those of you looking for classical art do not need to see any adult content.

3- Yes you can still link to skins on the adult site when you create sims
As long as the content is not on this site on it own...
Sims that are here now are fine and will not be removed.

When i get 3 free seconds I will update the first post and mke the rule clearer. Thanks

geuss I'm going to have to wait 5 months to get the good skintones from the other website . Most of the skinners around here get detailed with their skintones. I don't think I have ever downloaded a truely good skintone without it having nipples. Eh I am certainly mature enough to view a nipple seeing as I have them and its very sad that I have to wait until I turn 18 in 5 months just to see the great skintones over there. As I have noticed there are rarely any skintones made here that arent anatomical which is pretty bad since I havn't been here in a while and the same skintones are there since the last time I was here.

Hmmm.. seems to me this was started as thread for creators to help us get the content to the correct site, not "Let's debate morals, politics, political correctness, international law, and personal tastes." Unfortunately change can never be accepted with a little bit of grace and patience.
