Default Adding Sims 3 Shoes to Sims 2 Mesh?
I am comfortable with creating new sims 2 meshes and recolors for bodyshop however I'd like to learn how add to shoes from sims 3.

So I'd like to a tutorial on how to get shoes from sims 3, edit them so that they are compatible with sims 2 bodies/ skeletons then shoe swap them with an exisiting mesh.

I tried to explain myself as clearly as possible I hope this all makes sense.

For something like shoes, I would probably export the Sims 3 mesh as an OBJ, delete any skin parts from the mesh, and then reshape them by hand. It shouldn't be too tough - mostly just scaling. I haven't paid close attention to shoe joints so I don't know how much blending is involved, but if it's more than you want to do, you could use Cmar's Mesh Toolkit to copy the bone assignments from a TS2 mesh - if you take a look at a 3t2 clothes conversion tutorial like this one, you'll find instructions on doing that.

What I lack in decorum, I make up for with an absence of tact.
