How to view career information
I'm looking for a mod (or anything) that in game can show the career information besides the interface control panel.I want to find a way (or create a mod or something) for young adult sims to have a career while going to college.
Because of workhour-collegehour overlap, a mod (or anything) to view career information is needed to do this.

Do you just need the information or you need it in game?

It's easier if you have the info in game and you can just ask for it (with an object mod or something).
The info is always available on the Internet, but not everyone plays it in a screen so you can check the Internet (or a spreadsheet or something) while playing.
I want to check the info while playing without having to go on the Internet (if possible).

There is already a mod that allows YA to hold a job. They do have to be living in the main hood though not on a Uni sub hood.

With my idea it would be possible in a uni sub hood too.
And where can I find that mod?

Are you looking for a way to view the career details (salary, hours, days, etc) for the current Sim, or looking for a way to display the all the details for all the levels for a chosen career?
Neither are particularly easy, as there is no (easy) way to get the salary for a specific level of a specific career.

It's the info on the current sim that's needed and actually only the hours are the most important because it may not be the same hours as going to class.

If I knew what it was called or where it was I would have given you a link. I only know of it because I use it. I'm just not sure where in my mod folder it is-sorry. I was hoping someone would read and say. I can tell you nothing will remove the YA panel. The car pool seems to know the day and they go to work and come back home, but you can't view the info of the job.

I thought you could test careers in game - gah I've forgotten how now. I think it's in Debug Mode. I'll have to look it up.
Yes, from this tutorial here: http://modthesims.info/t/51901 (it's old and out of date but the procedure with Debug Mode is the same):
Change Job Levels
Once the job has been assigned, you can change the job levels of your sim.
1. With your test sim selected, <SHIFT-Click> the newspaper.
2. Select 'Set Job Level'
3. You can now set the job level to any in the career.
Test Chance Cards
Once the level has been set, you can test the chance cards.
1. With your test sim selected, <SHIFT-Click> the test sim.
2. Select 'Spawn', then 'Chance Card Tester'. This will put a new object on the lot called a Placeholder (a yellow box)
3. You can use the tester like a normal object, and it gives the options required to test the chance cards.
I'm pretty sure when you change job levels, it shows you the script for that level. You might be able to get away with simply chosing the same level they already have.

But you can't know for sure which job level they have as you don't see it in the control panel.
I think the mod of christianlov is the best for this. I will check it out asap.
