Anyone know of/where to find a set of fences or walls, as well as a roof or floor texture that resembles a frame of a building?

The roof beams... I would have never even thought to look in the deco section of buy mode for that one! That likely saved me hours of scouring the web! Thank you.

Another option for the roof is to use the ConstrainFloorElevation (CFE) cheat, which allows you to create the roof beams using fences.

I have finally started a new house using these:


I know it is technically going to be cheaper to just build the house in the long run, but my family does not have the money to just plop down on a 10,000 square foot house at one time, and a half finished house with untextured walls does not look good! This will allow me to build the frame which does looks rather good, then do main plumbing when I can afford it, then move on to wall in some rooms as afforded and go bit-by-bit while leaving the rest as frame.

By the way, it turns out that is what $4,500 worth of lumber looks like!

That's what I used to do, but honestly, I just don't like seeing a half textured empty build as I progressively build on it.
