This was working for the patch for me. However, since installing GTW I'm getting a bug where sims will autonomously get on computers at the library and attempt to purchase retail lots.

When I have this mod installed, my Sim Children cannot work on their Motor skill aspiration because the Practice Typing timer does not count their practicing. The problem is resolved when I remove this mod.

Seems like the purchasing-retail-lots-at-library bug is an issue with the game and not the mod. Someone made a fix for it:

Since installing Luxury stuff pack this mod is no longer working. Can you check it please. I am fully patched with OR and GTW also installed.

Please could you try to update this as my Sims are always on the pc. I can not delete the pc as my Sims need it each day for work progression.

I found a really simple fix for the Sims computer addiction. Like other users I would not put any computers in my house but keep one in my household inventory to put out when I needed to order parts or medicine.

Just don't put a chair down in front of the desk and they ignore it.

Tanja1986 has been more active with this type of modification.
I will look to make an update when possible.. although it is slow going due to wrist injury.

Updated for DEC4 1.13

Bed Tested.. sitting approved. 1 week of tech savvy geeks locked in a room with a pc.. too bad smartphones are so popular now.

While testing it for myself... I have not run into any issues. But I have tested it without the use of other mods. Let me know if you have any troubles.

Been playing for a little bit with it and it seems to work fine. Interactions aren't broken, Sims don't use the computer, so I guess it's all good!

Thank you!! I am using the No Computer use at all version and my sims are still using the computer to "Research Workout Tips" and children are using it to "Research idioms" . . I thought it may have something to do with the computers being custom but they use the EA computers autonomously too.

Thanks for the mod! and can you make a no auto Trolling Forums on the computer only Please! every time i look away my sim would go Trolling Forums on the computer and that gives him the mischief skill
