Cosmópolis - A lil' taste of Southern Brazil
I started making this world in December 2013 (yes, I know, a long time ago), but I just uploaded the Beta Version two weeks ago, long after Bankenshima ! So, Cosmópolis is here!
World’s Description:
“Founded in the late 17th Century as Nossa Senhora do Abandono, Cosmópolis had its economy based on whale hunting and citric fruits plantations until the early 1960s. Now it’s one of the cities that most attracts tourists in Ypes Republic (just losing for São Paten, Riacho Doce and Porto Coral) and is a great technopole. Nature, arts, culture, technology and more you can find here. Make your history in Cosmópolis!”
Notes:
- 125 lots, including a dive lot and a dock
- This world is principally based in Florianópolis (Brazil), with a bit of Lisbon and New Orleans
- At this moment, it’s a Town world (futurally a City world)
- This is a TEST VERSION with a save file!
- The lots are externally done!
- Almost all recolors and generators at this moment!
- Currently using a modified version of Perfect Day weather mod (by @brntwaffles) with a different sunset.
Do it just if ya want =D :
- Test the world for routing and lag
- Find any other issues
- Take pictures. Tag as #cosmopolis or #ts3 cosmopolis for easy following!
- Edit the interior of some lots; It will help me a lot and I definitely will credit you for your hard work!
Requirements:
- Base Game and all EPs (including ITF)
- All SPs (YES, including that Katy Perry’s SP [and Diesel])
- Some CC made by me, @createaworldblog and @simsontherope (the Custom Contents come in the same folder)
- No Store content
DOWNLOAD HERE!
Some Pictures:
Thanks @nilxis and @jje1000 for some retextures!

The Districts of Cosmópolis
Cosmópolis is divided in eight main districts and four other sub-districtsThe main districts are:
♦ Centro: The downtown can offer to you culture and top-notch entertainment. It houses the City Library, the Cathedral, the History Museum, cafes, the Mazzaropi Theater, an Arab immigrants gheto etc.
♦ Messias: In the 1960s, it were a really big gheto, but now it’s a lower-middle classed district suffering a process of gentrification. Has a laundromat, arcade, a pleasant beach and some hipster pubs.
♦ Palmas: The business/nightlife district. It was an industrial district before the many embankments. Has clubs, salon, soccer stadium and also the City hall and the Universidade Federal de Santa Derpina (university).
♦ Itacama: Founded by the engineer Jeremy Remus Fox, that projected the Valter Braga Bridge, in 1924, this district houses the City Cemetery, public school, old houses and a giant Neopentecostal church. Strange things happen there, like ghosts aparisons and abductions.
♦ Luzia: The rural district, and the oldest part of the city, is also suffering with the “Hipocalypse”, just like Messias. This historic dictrict has two beaches, bars, farms, a beautiful lake and some fishermen shacks.
♦ Arvoredo: Middle-classed suburbs. Has hight-fenced houses, a play ground, some shops and an abandoned motel beside Road SD-410.
♦ Morro do Urubu: Grown near the Diabo mine and the (now demolished) City Jail in early 1970s, these slums houses some Sims from Messias and Luzia districts, that lost their houses due to the gentrification. Has crappy houses, bars and a criminal lair.
♦ Aracê: Ostentation is the perfect definition for this district. Has mansions, chicks, money, chicks, lounges, chicks, and a golf club, and chicks!
The sub-districts:
♦ Lake Caigu Archeological Park: An archeological park with ruins of the Kariju people. Houses the beautiful and mysterious Caigu Falls.
♦ Perro Island: Houses the Fort Perro, oldest building still existing in the city, that now works as the Museum of Sea.
♦ Diabo Mine: Abandoned since 1987, this Tiberium mine has a beautiful, yet toxic lake. Closed due to radiactivity
♦ Universidade Federal de Santa Derpina: Founded in 1960, this is the fifth best public university in Ypes Republic. Now with a Movie Set!
