I remember a few years ago I downloaded some kind of mod that allowed you to only allow certain Sims in rooms by clicking the door and assigning a key. This was very useful in houses like retirement homes where I had every one autonomous and didn't want them in each others "space". I'm starting my game from scratch, and I do not remember where I found this.
