This user has the following games installed:
Sims 3, World Adventures, Ambitions, Late Night, Generations, Pets, Showtime, Supernatural, Seasons
Launcher won't install store content; refuses to believe my game is updated
I recently tried to install Sims 3 and all my expansions on a new computer from Origin, and upon trying to install my store content from my purchase history, I get an error message that says: "installation failed; make sure your game is updated".I'm using Windows 8 and Firefox to download from the store. I have absolutely no CC installed, third-party or otherwise.
These are all the steps I've tried:
Clean reinstall of all games and expansions
Installing each expansion in order, patching in between each one
Starting the launcher from both Origin and Windows files
Reinstalling Origin
Clearing Orign cache
Running the EA superpatch (it confirms my game has the latest update)
Running the patch downloader from MTS (it confirms my game has the latest update)
Deleting my DCCache
Running CCleaner to clean my cookies, applications, and registry errors
Doing a clean boot of my PC
These are all the EPs/SPs I have installed, with the version of each:
TS3 base game - 1.67.2
World Adventures - 2.17
High-End Loft Stuff - 3.13
Ambitions - 4.10
Late Night - 6.5
Generations - 8.0
Pets - 10.0
Showtime - 12.0
Sweet Treats - 13.0
Supernatural - 15.0
Seasons - 16.0
I've chatted with an EA help agent, who ended my ticket abruptly without resolving my issue, and I've gone through FAQ after FAQ after forum post, and nothing helped. I'm attempting to attach a dxdiag to see if that information helps.
EDIT: File is not uploading, so here is my system:
Model: ASUS Rog G56JK
OS: Windows 8.1 64bit
Processor: Intel core i7, 2.5 ghz
Memory: 12288mb
DirectX11
Display: Intel HD Graphics 4600, 1792 MB, Ver. 10. 18
Render: NVIDIA Geforce GTX 850m, 4020 MB, Ver. 9.18
If you need anything else let me know.

Update: I installed a decrapifier, which seems to work for now, even if it's not a permanent fix.
