Default a question reguarding video cards
I didn't really know where to put this... so I hope I put it somewhere okay.
Anyways my sims 2 game doesn't let me smooth edges.. Is it because I have an integrated chip set and no video card or is it because of the processor?
My processor is a dual core 1.6 Ghz and I have 4 gb of ram.
I have Windows 7 and the adapter type is Intel G33/G31 Express Chipset Family
Chip type: Intel(R) GMA 3100
DAC type:Internal
Total Available Graphics Memory:256 MB
Dedicated Video Memory:0 MB
System Video Memory:64 MB
Shared System Memory:192 MB

Yes, it's because of your integrated video. With integrated video like that, you should really be putting all your settings at the lowest possible, to prevent over-stressing the chip (which isn't made for gaming) - if you over-stress it to the point of failure, it can kill your whole computer.

Okay I'll keep that in mind. Thank you. I guess I'll just have to settle for what I have until I get my computer upgraded.
