Just wondering how you did the plumbob. Did you do it in two segments and join them together, or can you now get 3D printers that can "print" from multiple angles, as it were?

lionessgirl - It's actually three pieces. The support "stick", and then two halves that I, um, glued together with a glue stick because I couldn't find any superglue and was too lazy to design a nice snap-fit piece. I used this, just didn't print the headband: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:171227

My printer could've printed it in one piece as my printer can do quite large items, but would've been a little difficult to keep it from falling over with only a small point on the build plate.

Couldn't you have printed it tilted over so that it was large face down?

What I lack in decorum, I make up for with an absence of tact.

Yes, that's possible. But the angle of the parts to the build place would've been to steep - too much of an overhang from the point that'd be up in the air, and so it'd have had to be printed with support (waste plastic that breaks away) both inside and outside, and the interior plastic would've been trapped inside, and exterior support rarely leaves a perfect finish when it breaks away.
