I have been playing the game with all it's expansions for a very long time, now that I have recently installed the game on a different computer, I noticed something strange, in open for business I bought a community lot, and hired staff of course, now every time I take any of my sims to visit the lot every penny, salaries and sales revues go to their pockets, if they eat at it's restaurant goes straight back to their pockets, they buy things for free, and the longer they stay the more money they get because all the workers' salaries for each hour they stay go in their pockets too! Have anyone experienced this? Any patch or something to fix this? I don't remember if this same issue happened in the past as it's been a long time.

No! Never had that happened...but since it is a new install, then maybe it is patch related. have you checked if everything was indeed patched? I know there is a link somehwhere....that lets you download all patches ever been made for The Sims 2..worth trying

Also ... do you have any downloads? Are all hacks and mods updated? I'm not sure if you added any new EPs since you last played.

If nothing works, it might have been an errant download you forgot about ages ago. If that's the case:

However, if you have to do a 50/50, I would strongly suggest a modification. Make a copy of the game, test the copy using the 50/50 method. When you find a bad download in the copy, pull it out of your original game as well, get rid of the copy, put your good game back in there. This way, if you had any custom NPCs such as special Pollination Techs, you don't affect the game. If you had custom PTs and you play the copy rather than the original, your alien children can lost their alien parents in the family tree, and you can corrupt your hoods.

First, however, try the patches, and make sure all hacks and mods have been updated to your latest EP. Let's try the easy way first. Sometimes that works.

This happens to me as well. I'm not sure if it happened before I got the UC because I don't tend to go to owned community lots that much.

All I can say is, I wish it happened in real life.
