Default Jail?
I just wanted to know if it's possible for an adult sim to get arrested, and if so, how?

No, it's not possible, sorry. Teens can get "sort of" arrested when they sneak out and are brought back in the police car, but adults can't get arrested.

You could create a jail as a residential lot with a guard and everything and summon a sims to that lot, put him in a cell and prevent him from moving form there.
