Default The Sims 2 PSP mesh conversion
Hello, everyone!I need some help with converting meshes from the PSP version of the game to the PC one, because I have some problems:
Nr.1:The mesh appears in game but it doesn't move and I don't know how to add the textures because if I replace the original ones it won't have the correct ones for other life stages. Also SimPE doesn't link the mesh correctly,it will show on Young Adults and Elders, but not on Adults.
Nr.2:With the second mesh, the joints don't show up in SimPE and doesn't appear in game and bodyshop.SimPE doesn't link the mesh to the correct age.

Can I get some help?

Moved to the Bodyshop forum.

To make the mesh move properly you'll need to do joint assignments. The easiest way to do this from scratch, that I know of, is to use SerenityFall's method which involves using some TS3 meshing tools. You can find that info here (just skim through the first few sections so you know what she's talking about when she says stuff like "reference mesh"): http://serenity-fall.dreamwidth.org/1366.html

I don't fully understand what you're saying about textures. What do you mean by "if I replace the original ones it won't have the correct ones for other life stages"?

Does the outfit show up at all for adults, does it have the wrong mesh, or a floating head, or something else?

To get the joints available in Milkshape, just import a random EA clothing mesh for the same age and gender over the top of your mesh.

What I lack in decorum, I make up for with an absence of tact.

What I was saying about the textures was that they were assigned for the other lifestages too, while the mesh is only for young adults, adults and elders, replacing the elder one isn't a problem.I also found out that I haven't assigned the joints correctly to the hair mesh.

If this is a hair, just disable it for the ages you haven't made the mesh for: http://modthesims.info/t/89652 (do note that if the GZPS has an a in the name, it may actually be either ya, adult or elder. If you need to figure out which it is, use this method: http://www.modthesims.info/showthre...654#post5158654 )

Oh,well...Then I guess I'll have to delete some stuff. But I'm still having problems with the joints. They don't show up in SimPE,only on one of the meshes, but it doesn't look right in bodyshop and in game.Yes,I did assign them correctly this time. What can I do...
