As an alternative you could enter the buydebug on cheat, which you'll need to enter testingcheatsenabled true first if I'm not mistaken. That enables a few lighting options that will appear invisible once you exit buy mode. I find myself using that a lot when I want better lighting, but don't want a ton of lighting fixtures in the way.

This isn't my image, but it shows how to find the lights. I put the image in spoiler tags since it seemed too big in the message preview.


Then again I too would be interested in that mod you linked, It would be nice to have some additional invisible lights that don't require cheats to access.

Btw u can alter the lights in buydebug mode (colour,opacity,etc) like normal lights and the setttings will stay once u go in live mode (ctrl+shift+click)

Never knew about using ctrl+shift+click on lights to get the options normally in live mode, that's a pretty helpful tip. I used to put my lights in place, go back to live mode and adjust the options, then go back to buy mode if something wasn't to my liking. Knowing I can adjust the settings outside of live mode will change that. Oh and thanks for the links to those lights, they're really nice when you want to keep from having a bunch of lighting fixtures cluttering up your lots.

I know exactly what u mean i was using them like that for years!But i wasnt really pleased since the light came to harsh for my taste..
And then boom epiphany came ,and i havent used a normal light since then besides for decoration. XD

It works with buydebug lights even from live mode so you wont have to ctrl+shift click on them one by one.
