Richdre:

Female default replacement skins with nipples and hair

Anyone know where I can get a female reskin like this. Can't find any working links. Why these mods aren't kept up for this game? It's only been a year since it's been out. It's a great game but doesn't seem to have hardly any following. Can't really find any sites just for the sims medieval. All for Sims 2 and 3.

The same here, that link above isn't working anymore and I'm wondering if someone could share it? I'd totally appreciate it!

If you're looking for Carrigon's mods, none of them were updated to work with P&N.

If you don't have P&N then follow the link and just remove the view forum part from the end...or just type in the website home address.
The TSM link is on that page.

sexy sims 2 site was kind of annoying to navigate. I haven't played sims 3 in a long time, then had to redo my computer and am now starting over and it's *so* hard to track down all the original mods and skins i had! It's been a while and nothing over there is clear as to if it's really for sims 3 or sims 2.
And i'm re-navigating here, obviously : )

Lots of good ol' stuff but it's sure hard to find.

Do we have to have a clothing package for the nude skins to show up, or if you put on the cheat does it show up in the list?
Is there a link to the clothes to show up without having to put the cheat on? I hate scrolling through all those maid and etc. costumes/uniforms.

I'm also having trouble finding some goodies i had that were from World Adventures...cheat-y stuff lol

I was downloading some of General Durandal's skins http://www.modthesims.info/showthread.php?t=456083, when I read those were based off of a Medieval_Female_Skins.package. Was that the same as Richdre's Female default replacement skins?

It took me a while to find it, but I think the Medieval_Female_Skins.package is Richdre's female default replacement skin. I hope no one minds if I upload it.

Well, since I came to this thread in part due to the fact Ms. Chickie made a comment within it recently, though I see she has deleted it now, and because I am already here, and my comment relates to this topic, here I shall make it, uncaring of the warning no one has commented here for 4 months.
Chickie Toots, I am fixing to whine. I am glad I came to this thread, as I have seen that you had a web site started, which I did not know until just today. Do not know how I missed it. But I wish you would hurry up and get that thing started, as in my freest time, I love nothing more than to browse sites Sims Medieval/P&N. If you decide to have members one day or ever, I want to be your first! LOL I shall try and only nag you once a week. ***wink***
It's too funny, Chickie, but one of your characters looks so much like my Lagger Beer, my Peteran Priest. Its the dark haired Sim in the middle, second down below the blonde man. Lagger's eyes and mouth and nose are just a bit wider, but in generalities of looks they are nearly identical. Hmmm, maybe we do think alike when it comes to hot men! LOL
I finally bought those digital downloads of both Medieval, and P&N from a 3rd party, and shockingly, they sent me via download, the actual game files, so I intend to put them on my sons PC, and check it out for any differences in Sim actions and behavior compared with my disc version on my PC.
Anyhoo, my reasons for whining are that I am anxious for your site to be up and running full speed as my Sims are starving for new, innovative food items, even if they must eat your bowls instead of cartoon food until a time as a menu with new foods can be finalized for them. CHICKIE! They are starving!!!! They need your wisdom in their kitchens! They are even beginning to look a bit pale to me, their skin becoming sunken due to repeated eating of OLDE grub!
I hope you get this message Dear and decide my babes have suffered long enough, and get your site up and going strong. It is a bit slow in loading pages, Sweets, so you know, okees?

By the by, for info's sake, remember when I was telling you about the Dynamic add abilities mod as added to my game mods and Grims Medieval Core, about it not working fully in that not all the options would show right when I needed or wanted them, like add an ability, give Sim a title, a couple more but mostly those two, well what I forgot to mention is that when I try and click out of Grims Core Debug options, as I do not need it running the whole game session, as if I did I would have my game paused 99% of the time so I could read then find the response I wanted to make before the communicating Sim could get all the way to the forest, or docks by the time my Sim could reply, but the deal is, when I add a dynamic professions mod to my game, and click on Grims Debug options, then when I am done try and click out by clicking the check mark on the bottom right, my game freezes. I am stuck good and well, no keyboard short-cuts do anything to get me out of this freezer, until the game might break out after a time, but has not lately, before many times I have had to quit the game through task manager, but some good news, is that in the last two game sessions I have had, clicking the number 1, and Q has had the effect of setting my game back and the options menu returned to its hiding place, as when I click the check mark to save and leave the options menu, the game freezing immediately, the options menu also remains, staring at me as if it was an unmovable mountain, and I a slovenly peasant. Yes, it truly glares at me! I do not know in particular why pressing 1, and Q individually, not at the same time works, at least so far to get me out a of a hard freeze, but I am glad something does. There are just these little things one can do more with the dynamic professions mods, that Grim did not add to his core, that I feel I must have it added with the Core. The game does not freeze in this manner if the or any Dynamic professions mod is NOT installed, or added, so I believe the problem is with the dynamic mods, not Grims Core. I have tried two different versions of Dynamic, the last two updated.
Hope all is well with Ye Deary.

@Xeny:

You mean this one? If so that's my best friend's 'boyfriend sim'
.

As for the website. I only started building it because I had webspace sitting doing nothing and long ago I offered to host Grims 'enhancement' meshes (which found a home at sexysims2). I only attempted to finish the site so I could put up my skintones, since I don't think they can go up here.

Everything that's mentioned there is up for download here though (with exception of the sim characters and the skintones.) and since I consider 'mts' to be the home of tsm I don't see that changing. If you've seen something there that's not here, let me know, but I'm sure it's all around here somewhere. Likewise if you want any of the sims, (none of which are here.)

I was hoping to at least upload the sims and more skintones to it, but they're not on my list of priorities just now, since I have a joint project with Grim, the recipe/harvesting mod and the kingdom re-textures taking up all my free computer time.

I never used dynamic professions, so out of curiosity what can it do that Grim's core can't?

As for the loading of the pages....what's your connection speed? Is it certain pages or all of them?
Field Researcher
#113 Old 27th May 2013 at 1:34 PM
Just at this very moment my connection speed is 17.85Mbps, though its usually 22-25Mbps. I've got the preferred customer account, don't ya know? LOL It may have been just that day the pages were slow to load.
Yes, I did mean that Sim. No, I have a thing about creating my own Sims. I feel closer to them, if you will, like I am able to understand them, bond with them, and especially become attached to them, with someone elses sim, I always know he or she does not belong to me, I guess in a way, its like family, you know who is your blood, and who isn't. But its nice that some folks are sharing their creations with other Medieval players. I am selfish with mine. LOL
What I meant when I said Grims Core, or rather the dynamic mods could do that Grims Core does not is the style or manner in which an option is given, in Grims alone, there are so many options and some of them are not always in the same location to choose them when wanted, sometimes they move to the second list. Or second level, if they show up. The, or some of the Dynamic mods say the same thing as Grims, for one example, when one chooses the option to give a profession, or similar to those words, with Grims Core after you click that, there is no going back, what happens is, your Sims profession goes over to whoever you were clicking on instantly, YOUR SIMS profession, NOT an assigned profession that may be unfilled at the time of clicking. I flipped out a while ago when my Jacoban Priestess handed her profession to her adopted kid, but I kissed the heavens that I had saved the game before taking the chance of something going wrong, which it did. With the Dynamics, this does not occur, and clicking the option gives you a list of what profession you want to give a sim, and you can click to cancel if you change your mind. Not so with Grims. I adore Grim though, in case he catches a read of this reply. It is his Core that has made so much possible for this game, and I will forever be grateful for his time and work. Kissy kissy Grim! LOL
I feel I can manage the game situations better with the Dynamics mods because they generally have the options I use the most, they are smaller in the amount of options where one is not having to click an option then continue to have to click sub-options in order to get their choice showing to make it. And I can have it running as the regular options window, but not with Grims cause as I said before, by the time I find the correct action or option the sim my sim is communicating with has left and traveled all the way across the kingdom, so I must continuously pause the game to find the responses my sim needs to make, and that makes for a slow, and sometimes boring game session. Not every person who uses mods and plays this game understands all those terms used in those options, I had to study a few myself by researching, but that is all good and my second nature, so that is not the problem there, but when no explanations can be found, or written in such a way to be understood by a general audience, that is a problem, however, it is not any fault of mods makers, but its a sad thing, I suppose is how I want to put it, that players might be missing some fantastic abilities in using these mods by being unable to understand what some of these short-cut terms used in the options windows mean. Perhaps someone might make a mini dictionary of sorts and post it here for download, so as we all can understand what will happen if we click Test Triplets Baby basket (well I know that one, but it did weird things in my game, the babies never were born, though a direction arrow showed they were located inside of a hill next to my blacksmiths house, and clicking in the supposed grandfathers sim relationship box next to his inventory on their empty picture windows showed a slight shape of a child in each, but so faint, one could not consider them more than a ghost. Or if one clicks the Angel something can't remember the full words, but I am only imagining it has something to do with making a sim an angel, as I have read some players have angels and demons in their games. Not my cup of joe, but I merely refer to those two options because they are what I could most recall at this time that are somewhat confusing as to their meaning, and I suppose these confusing abbreviations are typical short words used in modding, or game development/programming....yea tho we type in the valley of the Internet, the majority fear we don't understand tech abbreviations and believe our search engines when they give not definitions for them are evil! LMAO! Ah but we endeavor to keep trying.

Take care Chickie, I still want you to make a website, even if you just franchise it out from MTS...I think you would perhaps organize the site much better than it is here, for visitors to be able to locate the mod, or information they seek in a faster, and clearer way. No insult intended for MTS cause they are super cool, but it is very difficult to navigate around. Not all of the mods are located in the same listed area, though I know there was an attempt made to do so some time ago, but if you are saying those food items at your site are located here, I have yet to have found them, and I have looked, and looked, and looked, and....well, I ought to find them one day, and I must also say I do not wish to put anyone out of their way to link me all the time. It would be nicer to have an organized area. Folks are more like to feel comfortable when they visit a site, and have no trouble navigating inside it. And since you are so neatO yourself, Ms ChickieToots, I figure you are orderly and neat in organization as well.

Thanks Chickie for the wee chat, and bless,

Xeny

Ah, no, the loading prolem will be my fault, my connection speed is 100mbps, when I tested for different speeds I'm not sure if I went down that low, if I ever find the prog I was using, I'll check again. The only time I ever tried this I ended up with 2 Monarch's, my original one and the one I made a Monarch. I don't know much about these functions, but is it not possible to use 'make me an npc' to clear the profession from them. (I haven't ever tried, and don't know if that's even functional in TSM or something left over from TS3.)

They're actually listed in the first post in the Forsaken Mods thread, in the makeshift index, in between entry 1 and 2 it says "in another thread: 3 food re-textures and 1 bowl." Like I said in another post, that index is getting a little unwieldy, I had to look up and down the list twice till I spotted it, and I know where it is, so it's easily missed.

Link to the red soup, bean soup, jellybeans and the black and white bowl (I assume these are the ones you're looking for) if not the others are all in the forsaken mods thread.

I suppose it is Chickie, but this happened when I first began using it, and so was not familiar with its operations, which I have yet to master. What you are saying happened with your getting two monarchs happened to me, but crazily, it happened BEFORE I ever added any mods whatsoever. I am not even sure if at the time I had heard of mods. But I got one of the rewards in the Medieval portion, lets see, it was Win a sword fight against the monarch, I believe, and that was when my original Xylan killed the new pretender Xylan. I didn't know another way out of the situation, all I know is the game went wacky after my doctor married the knight who was a female, but every time my doc marries and lives with that other Sim that I made, so a hero sim there are always problems, first time he married the trader, but she died, but he never did return home with four children after, only one of them his, no he stayed living with the children at the traders house, and not from me having decided it that way. After that for a very long time, even in a new ambition, the trader would not enter her house, she stayed outside in the lot and nothing I did would get her to enter, after so long I bought her a tent, and due to exhaustion certainly she slept there. It was so wacko I had no idea what the heck kind of game I was playing. It was so stunning how it continued throughout even new games, that after a time I just began to accept that this was the manner in which the game was intended.
It was some time later that I had my doc marry the knight and the whole game was fine up until the doc decided to divorce her, either she was cheating on him, or the adviser would never leave, but after divorcing the page asking with whom the kids should live, not only the children showed up as the children. In fact, they only had 1 child, but the kings child, their child, and the knight showed up as being all the children of the king. There was no X on the window to cancel any choices as you have seen certainly. I had no choice but to select one of them, so I thought leaving them with the king, they would eventually realize their house was the knights, the barracks and more room, but that did not happen. The knight began visiting the throne room more often, but she would go home, but the docs child who was everything evil, kept thinking the palace was her home, and the kings daughter slept at the docs but she would also go home to the throne room, but at some point we noticed the barrack did not have a knight, and I was yes it does cause shes right here, but we ended up making an identical hoping they would merge as one, nope, so thinking we learned our lesson from the king episode, not we but I I had Xylan kill one of the knights, I think the first because she was no longer accepted as the knight though she held the title, so thought it would fix the game having the new knight. I ended up just forcefully failing the game, and starting again. Eventually my trader began to enter the home, and since then I have not had any problems or had to buy another tent for a bed.

Okay. I was just playing with the options when this happened, I seriously don't want any of my sims to have triplets, as the kids in the game tend to be more of a hardship than a joy, and that saddens me a bit, but you probably know why, that being the parents having such difficulty in bonding with the kids for lack of hugging. I suppose this awful occurrence is something I must endure...hmmm or maybe one day it will just snap out of it like my trader did about entering her own home. By the way, I did change traders or had created a new sim for the many times I had traders that would not enter the home. My poor doc now has a fear of traders. He has never gotten very close to once since, and runs at the thought of marrying any other hero sim. He can marry a NPC and they are alright living at the medical center, but now that he can adopt and not have a wife, he usually chooses that option or none. I think you would like my doc Blade Bungle, he is excitable and giggles all the time, he makes one want to follow his lead, and I giggle with him...no hes not a joke-ster, but his laugh is so inviting, and very natural, like he just can't help it, or he will burst!

Well, thanks a ton of fun, Chickie. I appreciate this very much.

I came her tonight though especially to share some information about the game in which I am fairly certain a good many Medieval lovers will be VERY glad to know. I thought this info is worth a thread of its own, but I am here, and wanted to share it with you especially.

Would not most players want their monarch or knight to have the best sword in the game? I say absolutely! But no, the DOOM sword is not the best sword in the game, as most probably think. The best sword in the game is called The Lord Knight Lightbringer, and can only be received if one cheats at the right moment, or even at any time after meeting the Lord Knight in Guilded Guilds quest where the knight must choose whether or not to join the guild having a master other than the monarch, if he joins them, OR kill the Lord Knight, and receive his armor, which is the best in the game, and this is you kill him you can keep, but not that other armor the king gets in the quest to join the guild consortium, Rush to Pledge, but its not too bad as the sim hero is rewarded the angels guard and talon aside from other gear and swords. But anyway, you get nothing if you join the guild under the Lord Knight, so at the end, if you wish to wait that long before shift clicking on the Lord Knight to take his sword, as you see, you will get his armor only if you do win by killing him, which is a 10-4 and an ugly brownish yellow. But this knight is powerful, so if your knight is not a 10 and possibly more levels above 10, I would not do the quest if one wanted to play it absolutely legitimately and no cheating. His sword is 10-1 power 10 weight 1, his armor 10-4.
Now I swear the first time I played the quest Guilded Guilds with the knight, and won, I had received a sword, but I had read somewhere the reward was armor, so I had played it again and received armor, and every time since, until Grims core, and the option to take control of other sims came to greet me and my sims and into our adventures. As you might recall Chickie, I make it a habit of peeking inside npc sims' inventories to see what they conceal, or taking control of them in order to excuse them forcefully from an area, like the church. This is a HUGE issue for me!
I know many players have added the mod that stops the random children sword fighting inside the church as it was bothersome as they did it during the proests sermons, well, that was a nice idea, but my game has decided to replace what was taken away with something some might find more disturbing, and that is every damn sim thinks they must begin chatting in the middle of every sermon, they are load, and talk over my Lagger Beer, sometimes stand directly in front of his pulpit, any Sim I am not controlling will do this, the bard players her lute singing and pizzing me off, so I am constantly stopping the game, pausing it, shift clicking on the offending Sim taking them away from the scene, and dropping them off in Timbuktu, but if it is the servants doing it, I lock them in the priests room until after the sermon, but what angers me even more, is they are not so excited to chat after being locked in there! So they stand and stare. GOOD! The rudeness of sims is simply amazing to me, not in a good way.
I also do this with the ungrateful sims who are inside the home of my blacksmith and doing anything but browsing, until my Qyall Quartz is fixing to ask a potential customer to buy. YES! They wait until this very moment to get in the way and browse at the stall so the customer that intends to buy cannot reach or stand in from of the stall in order to look at the wares. I have gone as far as loading up my blacksmith with sleeping draught, and reapers scythe to kill any who did this, we took preventative measures, and only after many a sim could not recover did we make it to a happy level 10. I do not have to do this now with my favorite ability, controlling all or any who do not yet understand how the program works!
I am a dedicated control freak now, Chickie in my Sims Med./P&N game. I have become a socialist monster! Ah but sometimes it feels might good to be the Watcher!

My knight who I love, Reigh Nigh, the big handsome teddy bear gave the sword to his king Xylan, who he loves, and trusts, as the king during the legendary trait quest for my knight fought the Black Knight ahead of the time my knight was scheduled to fight him, in order to weaken the evil kidnapper, it was not necessary, as Reigh was nearly as high in levels as the king, but through all of my quests and every ambition possible where the king could, has always done such things especially when Reigh had just come onto the scene in the game, so was a 1, and nothing else. Xylan in order to make the playing grounds more at a fair level for Reigh to have a chance at winning and not being defeated by the challenger his very first appearance, would engage the challenger and beat the crumbles out of him or her, and this is the heart of a man who is also a king, who loves his people beyond even himself. His reward is more than a sword, but not the love from the sim kingdom as it should be, no the only real sim love he gets are from the hero sims, who cheer him in sword fights at the strategy table, in brawls, or kingball, EVEN WHEN I AM NOT CONTROLLING THEM whatsoever. But it okay in the end, cause he has the love from the only sims that matter, the npc's are just a must that must live the same old way without engagement in conversations or wanted by other sims to become friends, and therefore be filled with loads of green boxes of buffs constantly, cause a good joke one does not hear when they are slapping another sim, or locked in the stocks having rotton food thrown in their faces!

Hi guys. I'm new here and a complete NEWB with this modding business..

Anyways, I've run into a problem... I tried to add the disableclothingfilter mod but now when I try to run TSM (with P & N) I get this error:

Fatal Error
The dynamic library "rld.dll" failed to load. Please confirm that:
1)The file was copied over the same folder as the cracked executable
2)The antivirus software is not false-detecting the file (in which case white-list the folder/file)

I have no idea what this means or how this happened.
I also only just started using Windows Defender as well and I noticed that it popped up with something about some malware (or something else... not really sure) was detected when I tried to run TSM.

I have added some mods before but they have worked fine.
Also I am running Windows 8.

If anyone can help me, that'd be SUPER SUPER GREAT.
THANKS IN ADVANCE.

**EDIT**
I also just found that now FIFA 13 is no longer working either...

Don't know if this is because of the mod or if it is because of windows defender

You could just use the Testingcheatsenabled mod to switch the clothing filter on/off. If you haven't got it already, I suggest using that instead.

As for the Windows 8 thing, did you install the base game and P&N via Origin or as disks? I had to install the Sims 3 on Origin as the disks were causing errors. But anyway, for Medieval to work on (at least some) Windows 8 machines, you'll probably need the ultimate fix. Have you just installed Medieval or have you had it a while?

I don't know about Windows Defender, but most AntiVirus software can have programs added to an ignore list. Try adding TSM.exe to the ignore list.

I hope I've helped (even a little bit) but I'm sure people with more knowledge can correct me where I'm wrong

Thanks for the help. It was Windows Defender saying that some of the mod files had malware or something a rather which is strange because MacAfee said that it was fine when downloading the mods.

I just had to add the mod files to the ignore list as you said. THANKS ALOT.

I know the game is dead and all, like most Sims games but I felt the itch to play this again but the RNG in some things is kind of annoying. I'm trying to get my hands on Carrigon's Shop in Bulk v8 but all sims2workshop links are down since, well, the site itself is dead. Is someone with the package willing to upload it and post the link? I keep trying to find it but nothing.

I found a mod once that prevented random swordfights, but I can't seem to find it

The Mod is by Shimrod I believe and it's in the Mods thread.

A lot of the links are dead unfortunately. We both missed the party. There's still a lot of things available that are pretty cool though. I'm working on a new skintone set.
