Default UV Mapping Hair -- fine in Milkshape, borked in game?
It's no secret that I HATE UV Mapping, but lately I've reached an impasse that's got me ready to commit bloody murder. MURDER, I tell you!

I have no idea why this stinking hair (and one other I have that's a little better than this one, but still imperfect) looks fabulous in Milkshape, no texture issues with the alpha channel to be seen, but the second I load it in game I get...a tragedy!

I don't get it.

I don't make hair often because I always seem to have nothing but problems with them, and this is just another epic fustercluck.

Why is this happening, please?

Don't have the UVs go all the way to the edge of the map, leave a bit of gap between the UV and the edge. (I'm not sure how big a gap tho, try some fiddling) I found that fixed the problem for me.
