Does a hack exists that lets sims sleep with the TV and/or radio on? It doesn't make sense to me that they can't.

Yeah..especially when they do not mind if someone is playing the violin next to their bed. wt hack?

I wish. It's so annoying for me when my sims get annoyed and won't sleep because of stereo, tv, etc.

Try this and test it out, the little floor separators that you can put down and surround the TV with it and see what happens.

There called "The Great Divide" and there in like 6 dif. colors.

I've tried putting the divider around the TV and what happens is that the Sims won't use the TV because they think it's in another room than the one they're in and they just stamp their feet when you tell them to watch the TV, even if there's a chair right next to them. So, that's never worked for me. What HAS worked is putting the divider around the bed. The trade-off is that Sims won't watch TV from their bed, but I can live with that.

Also, those dividers came with Pets, so if you don't have Pets you'll need another very-low-to-the-ground fence.

Other than that, I've never seen a mod for this. it would be nice if there was one. I know a lot of people who like to fall asleep with a TV or radio on, just for background noise. It'd be nice to have Sims who are that way, too.

The hack I use for this problem is "Simsky's better tv" mod here on MTS . I use it for my sims to have their movie theater....so that they cant turn the tv off unless I direct them to.
