Default [ZModeler3, VideoGuide] Modding the Sims3 CAS model in ZModeler3
This videoguide covers the sim moding using The Sims Resource Workshop and ZModeler3. The actual package creation and game modding is beyound this guide and handled by the Workshop.

The meshing and UV mapping is not covered, while the overal process of modding is fully described.

Amazing tool Oleg and by far the best tutorial arround.
Love the bind and weightspray tools!

Do want to mention that there are tools arround that do the morphing and boneweighting for you with just a few clicks(Cmar's Toolkit)

I haven't seen CMar's toolkit, and I neither modded sims really. I suspect it "blows" affected vertices on pre-defined bones for "few-clicks" morphing, but look - it's very specific for the particular game, while my tool is general-purpose. Yup, moving vertices one by one is a bit odd.
